THE LIBRARY
For the professional and amateur audience, the Regional Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv has a library that includes over 7,000 books on various topics – ethnography, folklore, crafts, history, anthropology, museology, fine arts and scientific periodicals. The literature refers to the period of the Bulgarian National Revival Period and other historical eras and territories from around the world. The oldest editions are originals from the beginning of the 19th century.   We periodically update our list with new releases.   The library is open to everyone, and the materials are used only in the museum building and are not loaned out. Our team is available to assist you with consultations on various topics in person at the museum or by prior request by email or phone.   The one-time fee for using the library is BGN 1.   The fee for an annual subscription to use the library is BGN 6.
