The club, Friends of REM – Plovdiv, is a non-profit association established in 2007. It is the first museum club in Bulgaria, aiming to support the activities of the cultural institution. For 15 years, Friends of REM – Plovdiv  has worked to raise funds, organized exhibitions, concerts and other events, and won projects to support museum activity. Over 60 people with different professions – doctors, lawyers, teachers, craftsmen, engineers, etc. – are members of the association, but they all share the same interest in the past and the preservation of our cultural and historical heritage.

Anyone willing and interested in history and ethnography can apply for membership in becoming a volunteer and part of a large museum family.
