The museum’s scientific archive stores approximately 225 inventory items. The archival materials include both field materials of scientific expeditions conducted from the 1970’s to the 1990’s for the study of traditional material and spiritual culture, as well as publications about the museum or the region of the Rhodope Mountains and the Thracia Valley. You can also find data from Archaeological-ethnographic studies and joint expeditions in the 21st century in partnership with the Neophyte Rilski University of Applied Sciences and the NBU – Sofia. The museum has collected a rich folklore song archive.
