In 2021, the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv acquired a second property in the Old Town. By order of the mayor of Plovdiv, the house of Nevena Atanasova, also known as the House of Angels, was provided for the management of the museum. The property has the status of an architectural and construction immovable cultural property of local importance and is located at 20 Soborna St.   It has a built-up area of ​​129 square meters, on four levels – semi-underground, first, second and attic floors. The new museum building will be used to exhibit part of the rich ethnographic collections, as well as to create a museum educational centre. A souvenir shop of REM – Plovdiv was also attached to the house.
