You are entering the audio world of the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv.

 

Here you will hear intriguing stories from the life of the old Bulgarians, as well as music from traditional instruments. Each successive story leads to different halls of the museum. The stories are interconnected and reveal the lifestyle and culture of traditional Bulgarians. Interesting exhibits from the museum are presented from Hall 1 (on the first floor) to Hall 14 (on the second floor). For orientation, follow the sequence in the contents. You will experience various events in the life of a lad shepherd and his beloved one, searching and discovering objects in the museum exposition.

SHEPHERD AND BRIDE

The audio walk, “Shepherd and Bride,” was created together with the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the BAS under the project, Digital Accessibility for People with Special Needs: Methodology, Conceptual Models and Innovative Ecosystems, financed by the Scientific Research Fund of the Republic of Bulgaria.
