The Ambassador of Moldova Visited the Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Emil Jacota, visited the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv today. He was accompanied by the Second Secretary of the Embassy, Ms. Viorica Prodan. The diplomats are visiting Plovdiv at the initiative of Ms. Katya Pavlova, Editor-in-Chief of Diplomatic Spectrum magazine.
The visit is part of the initiative “Show the Tradition! Share the Celebration!” by the association Spectrum 21st Century, which aims to showcase the cultural heritage of different countries.
The guests from Moldova were deeply impressed by the dedication and efforts of the museum’s team in preserving and promoting Bulgarian traditions and lifestyle. The Director of the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Angel Yankov, welcomed the official guests and expressed hope that this is just the beginning of future cooperation between the two institutions.
Previously, also at the initiative of Ms. Pavlova, traditional customs and costumes from Morocco were presented at the Ethnographic Museum in Plovdiv.
