On May 2, at 11:00 a.m., construction, repair and restoration activities began in the former hostel, located at 20 Saborna Str. – Nevena Atanasova’s house. In 2021, the house was given by the Municipality of Plovdiv to the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv. A project was prepared for the change of purpose, approved by the National Institute of Immovable Cultural Heritage. The building is to be rebuilt into a branch of the Ethnographic Museum, where part of its collections will be housed, there will be a museum educational centre and new fund storage facilities.
