On the eve of Baba Marta, the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv invites both young and old to join the traditional martenitsa workshop, which will be held on February 22 (Saturday) in the museum’s salon.

This year, we will use the ancient technique of processing wool – felting! With the help of special needles, we will shape the wool – aptly nicknamed “warm clay” – into fun forms. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a unique martenitsa with their own hands!
