Our city is proudly hosting the 9th UNWTO Global Conference on Wine Tourism, organized by the UN World Tourism Organization. The two-day international forum is held under the inspiring motto: “The Art of Wine Tourism.”
Today /6.10.2025/ at the Regional ethnographic museum – Plovdiv welcomed Pilar Rodríguez, renowned culinary expert from Chile and UNWTO Ambassador for Gastronomic Tourism.
In her exclusive masterclass, Chef Rodríguez shared:
“The combination of wine and food allows for a more authentic and immersive experience of a destination. It’s an honor to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the past 20 years. In Chile, we’ve seen how working with wine brings together two worlds – winemaking and gastronomy – because they truly go hand in hand. Together, they create imagination, perception, lasting memories, and shared emotions.”
