“Do You Want to Play?”at the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv
🎲🧸 Until May 30, you can experience the exhibition “Do You Want to Play?” at the Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv 🎠✨
🎉 The opening of this beloved exhibition for both children and adults took place last night. It is suitable for everyone – from 1 to 101 years old 👶👵 and brings back the memories, emotions, and joy of childhood 💭💖
🤝 The collection is created by our colleagues and friends from the Historical Museum – Strelcha and the Historical Museum – Belovo.
“The idea for the exhibition started with a donation of a baby carriage from the early 20th century 🎁, made by Ivan Radev,” shared the director of the museum in Strelcha, Nikoleta Petkova.
🪀 The toys are arranged to cover a long historical period ⏳, as well as all key stages of child development – emotional growth and learning 📚💡
🎯 “There is hardly a family that hasn’t had or played games like ‘Black Peter’, ‘Domino’, and ‘Don’t Get Angry, Man’ 🎲,” said with a smile Sevdalina Popova, director of the museum in Belovo.
🌳🏃♂️ Special attention is also given to outdoor games.
💬 “We must not forget the youngest ones, because everything is done for them – they are our future 🌟,” commented Assoc. Prof. Angel Yankov, PhD, director of the REM – Plovdiv, who also recalled some childhood games 🧩
