December, 1th – Februaryr, 27th 2010 Exhibition of Regional Ethnographic Museum – Plovdiv “Modern times (European fashion below the hills)” Location: Ethnographic Ancient with Museum – Sofia The exhibition reproduces the appearance of the Old Plovdiv from the 90s of 19th century and includes the emblematic for the town at that time: garden party; evening party at the house of a wealthy family; the public baths (hamams) in Plovdiv (or the baths as a meeting place and a place for family rituals) and “ The Pavilion of Suits” from the First Plovdiv Fair, 1892 (one of the most significant events during the 90s of 19th century not only for Plovdiv but for the whole country as well).
